Advantages: good entertainment.

Disadvantages: starts off slow but give it a chance.

When I first saw the title of this movie I knew that it was going to be a good family film. The story is unique of the time in the fact that it gives the theory that aliens walk amongst us a twist in the tail.
The story is about a lad that gets taken in by a family and a boy who befriends him. Together they have to go through various hurdles to save DARYL'S life. DARYL stands for Data Analysing Robotic Youth Lifeform and it isn't until halfway into the film that you get the idea that DARYL is not human.
He is excellent at everything he does and he does a lot such as play baseball, swim and fly an american aeroplane. As scientists want to discontinue his life he has to escape and enlists the help of his friends including a suspected enemy. Plenty of action, drama and suspense give this movie a try for a boring afternoon.
You never know you may enjoy it especially the ending.
