I first saw this on TV, and was enthralled with the notion of it. Dave Gorman, generally known as a presenter and comedian, presents this as a cross between a lecture and a stand up routine, and it actually turns out to be a thoroughly entertaining tale of one man's obsession with something called a 'googlewhack'. Dave Gorman is one of the leading and original comedians in the country and after loving his earlier work my sister bought me The Googlewhack Adventure book for my birthday one year. After beginning to read the book i had to put it down and sit at my pc for about a week attempting to find a "googlewhack". The book was utterly fantastic and enthralling and then when i heard that he was doing it in stand-up i tried to get tickets but i failed so i had to wait for the DVD. Dave Gorman takes his acclaimed book Googlewhack on to stage and it works really well. A googlewhack is when you go on to google and type in two different words and only one result comes up something that is very rare. Dave Gorman takes it upon himself to not only find googlewhacks, but actually go and visit the googlewhacks wherever they be in the world.
