Something needs to be done; my spare tyre is beginning to resemble something that would probably fit an average sized tractor! I have good intentions of a super model - a gym membership, new Nike trainers that I'm told are perfect for all sporting activities, a nice sporting wardrobe... I just can't bring myself to use any of them! In sheer desperation I decided to get a 'work-out' DVD. My theory is that if I can kick start my new fitness regime, I'll look better and feel better about getting myself to the gym and standing next to the sticks on the treadmills. I went into HMV to browse the fitness section and was amazed at the number of celebrity ... Read the complete review

I own quite a few fitness DVDs - from Dianne Berry to Tai Bo to Liberty X and everything in between. This is my number one and the only one I'll keep coming back to (and the only one I really believe makes a difference!). I bought it on itunes which is great because not only was it cheaper than in the shops but I can do it any time and any where I have my laptop! This one represents extra value for money because there are two routines - both lasting 30 - 40 minutes and both difficult enough to make you feel like you're working hard but not so difficult that you can't bear to carry on! The first workout is based mainly on boxing-type moves ... Read the complete review

Well, when I noticed this DVD had not yet been reviewed on Dooyoo, I just had to suggest it because I am a huge fan (of the DVD that is, not of Davina's!). I don't watch big brother and actually, I find Davina quite annoying so I certainly didn't buy this because it had her face on the cover, I chose it because I had only ever read positive reviews about it. After the new year, I decided, as most of us do, that this year I was going to get myself into shape and live a healthier lifestyle. I have never been particularly unhealthy and my weight has never been a problem or anything, I just never did any exercise! I don't like gyms, and I don't really like ... Read the complete review

I must confess that I am not a sporty person - I hated P.E. in school, always choosing the option with least physical activity (table tennis and bowling were my personal favourites and my aim in rounders was to get caught out without even having to run to first base and then sit the rest of the game out) and I have rarely set foot in trainers since leaving. I also like my food and have a big sweet tooth. With those two things in mind, it's hardly surprising that at the age of 25, I realised that in just the last year I had put on a stone and resolved to lose it (and preferably another one after that!) Sadly, dieting does not seem to produce great results with me - the ... Read the complete review

Having read some positive reviews about this DVD, I decided to give it ago, and certainly was not disappointed! I have tried a few workout DVDs, mainly the '10-minute' range, so was kind of used to fairly-tough aerobic exercises, but I honestly haven't worked this hard! I was a little worried at first that I'd find it hard to cope, since I had been used to the selection of 10 minute workouts, and this one in either 40 minutes or 50 minutes (depending on which workout you choose), but it actually went really quickly! There's a great variety of workouts, and you can choose if you want to solely burn fat, or burn fat at the same time as toning, plus the 50-minute ... Read the complete review
