Advantages: Ryan Reynolds, fun, heart warming!

Disadvantages: Abigail Breslin, annoying little thing!

I'm not normally one for rom-com's, but to be fair I actually enjoyed this film.

The film is about a man (Ryan Reynolds), who after being pressurised by his daughter (Abigail Breslin), decides to tell her the story of how he met her Mam, only there are several possibilities as to who her Mam is in his story, and for her to be able to guess, he's given each of the women false names ... get it?!

Anyway, I thought it was a very heart warming story, very funny in parts too. I think that Ryan Reynolds is actually a very good actor, and in this film you get to see a different side to him. Abigail Breslin I thought was quite annoying, she no longer has the 'cuteability' factor that she had in Little Miss Sunshine! The supporting cast of Isla Fisher and Rachel Weisz are also very good!

All in all, a very good film, that nearly bought a tear to my eye (nearly, not quite, I don't cry ... ever!)

Summary: Good film, go see!
