Advantages: A unique, yet enjoyable take on the standard rom-com

"Definitely, maybe", starring Ryan Reynolds as the lead character, is the story of a young girl wanting to know how her soon-to-be-divorced dad (Reynolds' character) met her mother. After much hesitancy initially, the girl finally manages to persuade him to tell the story and this leads to the main part of the film: the flashback through his life which tells of the ups and downs of his relationship with three, very different women. These flashbacks are interjected with innocent, and often humorous responses from the daughter as she tries to guess which of the three women he ended up with. With the viewers not knowing who the mother ends up being either, this film is like a love mystery and it is this unique take on the usual rom-com that makes this film stand out and remain memorable long after you have watched it. With outstanding acting from Ryan Reynolds and Isla Fisher, as one of the three main love interests, and a lot of good one-liners, this film is a light-hearted fun film that I thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to everyone, particualry people who enjoy romantic comedies.
