Rather than being a screenplay describing the events that this story is about, Deliver us from evil is the story of Oliver O' Grady, the catholic Priest who molested and abused hundreds of children in the 1970's, 1980's and 1990's. It gives a backdrop to his life as a priest in America when he was commiting these acts. Obviously not a cheerful film, as you can probably imagine already. He ends up in prison for seven years and is then deported to Ireland, the country where he was born. Deliver us From Evil is deeply unsettling material which not everybody will be able to watch. It's a powerful film which documents the many years of child abuse and molestations by a Catholic Priest named Oliver O'Grady. Right away we are introduced to Father O'Grady who unusually for something of this ilk, is interviewed throughout, as well as hearing testimony from what you can only deduce initially is a very confused and ill person. The exact nature of his crimes is unknown at first and this leads you to almost feel some kind of sympathy and respect for a man who who is defending himself on camera when it would have been so much easier ...  Read the complete review
