Deuce Bigalow Male Gigolo sees Rob Schneider at his very best as he plays Deuce, a fish tank cleaner who ends up looking after the fish of a highly paid male prostitute (played amazingly by Oded Fehr from The Mummy) and ends up teaming up with a man pimp (played to perfection by Eddie Griffin) who pushes Deuce into a new job as a male prostitute (all be it at a much cheaper rate than those male prostitutes who can afford his services to look after their fish and clean their fish tanks). The film from this point on is an absolute delight and is one of those films that has numerous laugh out loud moments as Deuce is hired by those who are not your normal clients like a tourettes sufferer and super tall woman. The film is able to create a loveable character in Deuce as we see him end up falling for one of his clients but during his time as a male gigolo we see him not so much as acting as a sex worker but more so working to make people happy by finding things to make them feel more normal and so you feel a great likeability towards Deuce. The film is one of my favourite comedies ever and has a huge amount of laughs whilst also making a loveable character and a feel good attitude about the film. If you like Rob Schneider then this is one of his greatest films and so you should definitely see this.
