Deuce Bigalow is immature. The film never set out to be high brow, by looking at the back of the video (Deuce Bigalow holding a prosthetic leg) you know that this is not a high brow film, you also know that the comedy is not going to be amazingly complicated, basically you know what you are letting yourself in for. My advice to you when you watch this film is to go with the flow....it really is amazingly funny.

The plot is that Deuce Bigalow is a helper of all fish. He goes around and saves fish from toilets or ponds. He smells of fish. He is highly unpopular with women....until one day....

Basically he finds himself in the position where he owes someone a lot of money (its hilarious...he breaks their expensive fish tank.....they are a gigolo but go away for a few days....so Deuce has to pretend to be him to raise some money....and hilarity ensues) So Deuce pretends to be a gigolo...which he thinks will be all glamour, but finds that it isn't when he meets the freaks that he has to go out with (one of them is a 10 ft woman, you never see her head, its comedy genius)

While all this is going on there are loads of stupid things going on in the background,like an old woman falling down the stairs of a coach etc etc. (watching that part on video is wicked 'cos you can rewind it to make it funnier....yes I am immature...but it was funny....honestly. trust me)

Deuce starts to make money until he goes out on a date with a girl....that has been set up by her friends because she can't find love because of her prosthetic leg...she doesn't know that he is a gigolo. He doesn't know about her leg. He falls in love with her and vice versa but love doesn't run smoothly for Deuce Bigalow...it can't! its a low brow slap stick comedy film! and the love of his life finds out about his giggolo-ness. I won't ruin the end but I will say that its amazingly funny.

Basically I REALLY loved this film, but I did watch
it when I was in a really silly mood after me andmy mates pissed ourselves for about half an hour in the video shop about the back cover...don't worry I am sorting my problems out now... but I really would reccommend this film, but just take it with a pinch of salt, as I said before, it isn't exactly high brow.

Summary:
