John McClane is back - this time taking on terrorists at an airport! At one point during Die Hard 2, Bruce Willis asks "how can the same [stuff] happen to the same guy twice?" At times, you know how he feels. The producers clearly believe in the old adage "if it ain't broke...". As a result, they generally stick to safe ground and the principles which made the original film such a success. In fairness, they mostly succeed, crafting an action film which is a worthy (if inevitably inferior) follow up to the first. The main reason for this is the seemingly indestructible John McClane (Bruce Willis). Willis has always been at his ... Read the complete review

Die Hard 2: Die Harder follows on a few years after the events of the first film, when John McClane managed to get out of the Nakatomi plaza alive, with his wife in tow. This time round, husband and wife are getting along better (surprising what a near-death experience can do for you), and John is feeling carefully optimistic about everything. It is good sometimes to come across a follow up film that does not just automatically seek to cash in on the success of the first one and in this film you have a sequel which is just as good as the original. Once again John Mclane New York cop (Bruce Willis), finds himself in the midst of chaos and extreme violence battling the odds against a much superior criminal element. This time it is a set of mercenaries set on releasing a South American General being transported by air to New York to face drugs charges. They seek to do this by taking over the airport by supersceding the control tower function meaning that all of the other planes flying in during the ... Read the complete review

A year has passed since the siege at Nakatomi Plaza, in which L.A. cop John McClane single handedly stopped Hans Gruber and his gang from stealing in negotiable bearer bonds. lt's Christmas, and John McClane is looking forward to a nice peaceful time with his children and his wife, Holly. Unfortunately, as McClane arrives at Washington's Dulles Airport to meet his wife, it becomes clear that his hopes for a peaceful Christmas could not be further from the truth. Meanwhile, at the Escelan Airport in the Republic of Valverde, General Ramon Esperanza is about to be extradited to the U.S. to face charges of drug dealing and war crimes. Due to heavy ... Die Hard 2 stars Bruce Willis and Bonnie Bedelia. The film was released in 1990 and the plot is as follows... Die Hard begins on Christmas Eve - just like the first film, McClane is at Washington Airport to pick up his wife Holly when her plane lands. However terrorists take over the air traffic control network, so the plane Holly is on and other flights cannot land. The planes are forced to circle the airport, but this is dangerous as they will soon run out of fuel. McClane works to try and stop the terrorists who are being led by a former US Army Special Forces operative, Colonel Stuart. They are demanding the release of Ramon ... Read the complete review
