Die Hard with A Vengeance is the third and final in the Die Hard Trilogy, after having 2 major films produced by 20th century fox before under the Die Hard name you would expect this one to live up to the standards of the previous two which in my opinion where 2 great movies.

The film stars Bruce Willis again as the main role of John McLain who is bought back into the police force by the demand of a terrorist claiming that he will blow up a public place if his demands are not met, a very typical story as usual but it is very cleverly done. Co-staring along with Bruce Willis is Samuel L Jackson who involuntarily becomes involved in the story as the film moves along.

The film is set in New York and is mostly revolved around in the streets instead of just 1 building or airport like in the previous films John has to go around many places in a specific amount of time so that he meets the demands of the terrorist who communicates to him through pay phones.

However there is a twist to this story which is not relevant until later which makes this film slightly better than the original classic kill?em all style like in the original Die Hard movie, the story line is much more complex and original which makes this film stand out way above that of the first two films in the series.

The DVD is full of many special features if you buy it in the 2-disk special edition set and has many interviews and behind the scene information about the movie. The quality of the sound and picture is much better as it has been re-mastered with Dolby 5.1 and also the picture has been re-sampled, it is the same with the original.

The movie is really worth buying if you are a DVD collector and is an essential to add to your collection even if you have not seen the third instalment in the series yet. The acting and story together is of quality and that?s why it will remain a classic. If you have enough money you should think about investing in the trilo
