Advantages: great soundtrack storyline

Disadvantages: Never a sequel

This has to be one of the classic film of all times, i have seen it so many times you know its bad because you know all the words but yet you still have to watch it again and again.

Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Gray play a great part in this film where "no one puts baby in the corner" which is the classic phrase of the film.

The film starts when Baby Houseman and her family go on holiday to Kellermans. Baby then spots Johnny Castle a dance instructor. Johnny has a few problems with his dance partner Baby offer to help him out, So Johnny teaches Baby the seductive dance moves, where they end up falling in love.

Unfortunately Baby's father does not approve of Johnny and orders his daughter to stop seeing Johnny, so the two have to fight to prove their love to Baby's father.

There is more to this film but i do not want to give it away if you have not seen it.

This film has a great soundtrack that does not get boring and as for the dance moves in the film they are amazing and it has one of the most recognised dances in it.

An overall great film and well worth buying as i guarantee you will watch it over and over again.

My only disadvantage is that they never carried the story on, they did bring out a dirth dancing 2, but this had completely different character based storyline, although Patrick Swayze was in at as a dance instructor, but they never carried the story on of Johnny and Baby.
