The only reason that I actually paid money to go and see this was because a friend wanted me to go to the cinema with them, and there was nothing else that either of us wanted to see. By the end, both of us seriously regretted wasting money and time on the film!

Plot? It was a parody of loads of recent films, and I'm told that it was filmed in style of 'Cloverfield,' which meant that the camera work was all very shaky and looked like it had been done on a budget! They tried to work in a plot to the all of the parodies but it didn't really work. The films and people parodied included Night at the Museum, Enchanted, Hannah Montana, Sex and the City, High School Musical, Juno and more. Because of its name 'Disaster Movie,' there was a sort of disaster but even this didn't seem to really make any sense, it was as though they were making it up as they went along.

Acting? It was basically, terrible. None of the actors or actresses had any real presence, you didn't connect with their characters and they didn't have any chemistry with each other. However, you have to wonder if maybe they aren't so bad normally but were let down by the plot and script.

It also got really bad reception, being named the worst film of the year and receiving many razzie awards! I'm not surprised.

Some people may like I suppose if their in to the sort of humour thats in this film, but I was totally bored and regretted paying to see it. If you're thinking of giving this film a go, then don't!
