Very rarely does a film emerge that truly scares me. 'Disturbia' is one such example of a film that does however and is one that I would wholeheartedly recommend to everybody out there with even the slightest interest in the horror genre. The film has a greatly powerful beginning, an opening sequence that grabs you straight away and never during the 104 minute run time of this film does it ever let you go. ~~The Plot~~ Kale Brecht (Shia laBeouf) is a just a normal teenager when his dad dies in a car accident that he was involved in. His grades start slipping, and in the end he is placed under House Arrest for 3 months when he punches his Spanish teacher, who untactfully mentioned Kale's dad. Kale's mum decides that he should do something with himself, and disconnects his Xbox and his iTunes account, leaving Kale at a loss. However, he brightens up when Ashley Carlsen (Sarah Roemer (a model)) moves in next door. Armed with binoculars, Kale starts to spy on his neighbours, especially Ashley. But when another neighbour, a Mr. Robert Turner (David ...
