Get ready to embark on the journey of a lifetime as you travel through time and space, side by side with the Doctor...

*****
Doctor Who started way back in 1963, with William Hartnell playing the Doctor! And his performance must have been so strong as we as a whole are still obsessed with this gripping programme, 44 years later!
Since then, we have met 10 Doctors, and adored every one of them! This Doctor (9th) is played by the lovely Chris Eccleston, living up-to-date adventures in his big blue box, more commonly known as a TARDIS. But the Doctor does not travel alone! In this DVD, we travel through the galaxy and encounter three fantastic adventures with the Doctor and his companion, Rose (Billie Piper).

*****
ROSE
A fantastic episode for the relaunch of DoctorWho! It starts off by introducing the live of the Doctor's newest companion, Rose. We meet her mother, Jackie (Camille Coduri) and her boyfriend Mickey (Noel Clarke). Rose works in a department store in london, and it seems like an averagly boring day for her until she is caught in a mess when the shop dummies come to life! She finds herselve being saved by a mysterious man with a blue box, who goes by the name The Doctor from these creatures! But who is controlling them, and can the Doctor safe everybody else...?
THE END OF THE WORLD
The Doctor takes his new companion to Platform One in preperaion for the end of the world, caused by the Sun expanding! Amongst the alien guests is an evil, trouble-making murderer! Who is it that brought devil-like robotic spiders on bourd to overwrite the system and let the aliens burn...?

THE UNQUIET DEAD
We follow the Doctor and Rose on a journey back to Cardiff in 1869, but it's not just an ordinary Victorian day! Creatures controlled and made entirely out of gas are causing havoc amongst the dead, and they are set out to kill! Is there Anything the Doctor can do to save everybody...?

My Opinions!
In my eyes, this is one of the best DVDs to date. We visit Earth as it is now, and both in the past and in some ways, I guess you could say thr future!
I think the fact that we are focused on Rose at the beginning of the first episode is a good idea. She knows nothing about the Doctor really, and the new viewers to Doctor Who, like me, are just as curious about him! That helped me to connect with Rose and follow what she was doing! I loved the way she connected with the Doctor almost instantly towards the end!
With The End Of The World, we are beginning to find out a bit more about the Doctor, but he seems a bit horrid in this episode, he doesn't really care about how Rose feels about the Earth, until the end! They seem to automatically fall in love with eac other, and that passion is so magical!
The Unquiet Dead is probably my favourite, as I have a desire when it comes to History, so being taken back to Victorian Cardiff was wonderful! This episod was full of fascinating facts for me, and the love between Doctor and Rose was really shown, when Rose was captured by Mr Sneed!

*****
These three episodes were fantastically written by Russell T. Davids (executive producer) and Mark Gatiss.

*****
CHRIS ECCLESTON
Chris brought humour into Doctor Who, as well as his fantastic acting skills! It is easy to tell he is enjoying what he is doing, and you really do believe he is the Doctor, and not an actor!

BILLIE PIPER
Nobody could play Rose Tyler better than Billie, the casting director has made a perfect choice there! Billie shows great acting skills, she makes you cry when she cries, makes you laugh when she laughs! Her talents are really one-of-a-kind!

*****
The soundtracks for these episodes are truly outstanding, created by Murray Gold and performed by BBC Wales Orchestra! Rose's theme really hits your heart, so look out for it!

*****
This really is an adventure not to miss! So join the Doctor and Rose for an opportunity of a lifetime!
