"We are the Family Of Blood!" And on that note... ***** What a success the first two Series of the new Doctor Who has been! It was no surprise was Series 3 was such a big hit too! A lot of us were a bit 'annoyed' that Rose was gone, and were a bit ? about this new Martha! But six episodes in, and we are yet again attatched to this thrilling Tv Show...! ***** As soon as the third DVD in Series 3 was released, I went out to buy it that very day! I saw it straight away, standing out on the shelf! The marble green cover looked so attractive, with the Doctor and Martha centred on the front, enclosed by those horrifying ... If you want to buy a Doctor Who DVD then you should buy this DVD without thinking about buying any others. The 3 episodes on this DVD are undoubtedly the best episodes of Series 3 which I think is the best series (despite it taking a while to get into). This DVD features episodes 'Human Nature' and it's sequel 'Family of Blood' and 'Blink' which are all pretty experimental episodes playing with ideas not fulfilled before. Arguably the character of Doctor Who hardly features in all the episodes but this is one of the best things, because David Tennant is prominent in all episodes, though not necessarily as Doctor Who. In the first episode Doctor Who ... Read the complete review

With a fairly lacklustre set of stories on the previous disc set, part three of Doctor Who's revamped third series marks a definite improvement in the quality of the series. The third disc in the series contains three episodes, namely Human Nature and The Family of Blood, both by Paul Cornell and Blink by fan favourite Stephen Mofftt. A family of alien hunters is on its last legs and desperate to steal the energy of a Time Lord in order that they can survive. When they track down The Doctor, he quickly ... Read the complete review

The third disc of series 3 steps it up a notch, with the previous two discs having served their purposes: the first to introduce the Doctor's new companion Martha Jones and get her grounded in the series, and the second to have the now regular double episode featuring the Doctor's arch enemies, the Daleks. In this third disc, the Doctor and Martha have two more adventures, as we are treated to one of the better double episodes in Human Nature and The Family of Blood, and then one of the scariest ever in Blink. Seriously, don't watch this last one in the dark if you're even a little on edge by sci-fi! The Episodes Human Nature and The Family of Blood ... Read the complete review
