Advantages: Great acting, funny, easy to watch

Disadvantages: Nothing!!

Dodgeball, a true underdog story, was released in 2004 and contains many high profile actors such as Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller. The storyline is basically about Globogym (the gym owned my the successful White Goodman) attempting to buy the plot of land opposite, in order to build a car park for its expanding group of members. Unfortunately, upon this plot of land stands Average Joes, a gym full of losers and no hopers, and owned by Peter Le Fleur. In order for them to stop the acquisition of Joes, they have to raise 50 000 US dollars, and they attempt to do this by playing dodgeball.

Inevitabally, Globogym also enter a team, and the storyline takes us through the various qualifying stages against sides such as the LumberJacks and the Wu Tangs. Eventually, both sides meet in the final, and in a dramatic end, the game is won by average Joes.

I really enjoy this film, and could watch it time and time again. I find that the storyline never becomes repetative and is always interesting: even though i obviously realise the match will be won by Joes.

The actors play great roles in the film, with White Goodman being particularly funny and coming out with some great quotes which my friends continue to recite to each other even now, some 6 years after the release!

Basically, you have to watch this film, if you havent see it, then buy it! If you have seen it, still buy it!!!

Summary: An absolutely must see film!
