(film only) Cesar Milan has become a household name with just about any dog owner who's had a chance to catch his cable show, The Dog Whisperer, which typically airs on the National Geographic channel. The show began running in September 2004, and is currently entering it's fourth season. This four disc boxed set includes all Cesar's sterling advice when it comes to the behavior of our canine cousins from Season One. Does your pooch have some seemingly insurmountable problem or bad habit? Ask Cesar! Each episode usually focuses on two separate clients who contacted Cesar for help, and many of the issues covered are common problems faced by every ... Read the complete review

I was introduced to the Dog Whisperer by a friend of mine, who had recently decided to volunteer at a dog rescue centre - and yes, came away with a dog! So the Dog Whisperer... ~~~~Cesar Millan~~~~ Cesar was born and raised in Mexico, and had decided at the age of thirteen that he wanted to be a dog trainer. Much of his early experience with dogs came from the dogs on his grandfather's farm, where the dogs worked herding cows, for example. Apparently, this situation gave Cesar the opportunity to watch pack behaviour, which, if you have seen the show, is central to dogs' behavioural issues. At twenty-one, Cesar left his ... If you have a naughty dog, then you need to read this review. Cesar Milan has the solution for all your dog problems. I've been watching his TV show, The Dog Whisperer, for about a year now and I'm totally addicted. If you've never seen his show, lucky you. There are four series to catch up on. Cesar has a dog psychology centre in Los Angeles. He can have about fifty dogs there at any one time. The amazing thing is he has total control over them all. What I like about Cesar, is he treats all dogs irrespective of how much money the owner has. He is Mexican and he doesn't come from a rich background. He's very down to earth with a cheeky sense of ... Read the complete review

You have to be brave to handle some of the beasties in this series but Cesar does it and reduces some of the most aggressive dogs into submission. Cesar is like nothing I have seen on TV before and I have the current series Sky Plussed!! It is very interesting to watch Cesar and see how he can change a dog's behaviour. In the majority of cases he shows that it is the owner who needs to be trained and not the dog. I am fascinated by Cesar Milan and how he manages to train dogs instantly, but in reality he is re-educating the owner and training them to be pack leader. Cesar constantly reiterates his trademark point that it is ... Read the complete review

Absolutely fantastic! This is a must-see for dog owners; it's full of tips for making life more enjoyable and healthy for both owners and pets. Cesar has a remarkable way with dogs, and it's riveting to watch the effect that he has on them. To the amazement of their owners, even the most badly-behaved dogs improve almost immediately under Cesar's guidance. In most cases, we find out that it is the owner who has created the problem, often by treating the dog as a person, and not allowing the dog to behave like a dog. Cesar's training is more for dog-owners than it is for dogs, because changes that the owners make following Cesar's recommendations translate into better ... Read the complete review
