Dragonballs - better off watching the lottery bug money balls (Dragonball Evolution (DVD))

Oh dear oh dear - part of me was hoping for some sort of karate kid type movie..... what was I thinking this is more like karate kid mashed with power rangers.

I was very disappointed no real fight scenes but a lot of stunts on ropes on blue screen. particularly bad acting and I really don;t know how I made it to the end of the film. I must have been so poleaxed I couldn;t be bothered to reach the remote.

Basic plot

The story starts off with Goku, his grandfather quickly dies and sets off on the grandpa's last request to find a master, the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls or which he has one for his 18th birthday. All in an attempt to stop the evil Lord Piccolo from obtaining all 7 dragonballs which in turn grants you any one wish you can think of - which for the evil Lord means taking over the world and not winning the Euro Lotto :-)

Might be one for the kids so I won't mark it down too much
