Drive Me Crazy has been done a thousand times before but we fall for it every time. The American teen high school comedy genre hasn't exactly changed through the years and if it aint broke then why fix it, which is definitely the case here. All you need to do is to get the lead two characters chemistry reasonably right, pump the rocky soundtrack up, sprinkle with a healthy mix of clichéd two dimensional types around them and hey presto! Drive Me Crazy! With its blatent Britney Spears theme tune to get the teens in and possibly one of the chunkiest soundtracks ever for a teen comedy, some 27 songs, pretty much a new one ever scene, this is formulaic to say the ... American High School Big Fun with Melissa Joan Hart, she of the immense Sabrina the Teenage Witch kids' TV series ... It almost makes you cringe just to read the words, I guess, because although Hart is good looking and cutesy pie cool enough to carry the twenty minutes or so on the small screen, this is big cinema and the full 90 minute Monty. It's stretching things just a mite too much to expect her to be able to pull this one off, especially when she's having to carry the burden of one of the most reprehensible of movie genres - the High School light comedy, made popular by Porky's, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, American Pie and the like. ... It was a wet afternoon, I was bored and I decided to watch a movie on pay per view to test out my new ITV Digital box. I vaguely remembered seeing this advertised a year or so ago, it was one of those teen romantic comedies I seem to like so much, but this is one of the direst films I've ever seen in my life, and a complete waste of the £2 I paid to watch it. There are a few spoilers in the opinion, but remember, it's a teen movie, so there's nothing you couldn?t predict anyway. It's all centred around the prom (as most good teen flicks should be), Nicole (Melissa Joan Hart - Sabrina the teenage witch) wants to take the hunky star of the ... Read the complete review

Nicole (Melissa Joan Hart) and Chase (Adrian Grenier) are high school kids who have always lived next door to each other. She is obsessed with fashion and school spirit, he with student protests and moping about in coffee houses. They are radically different from each other, do you see? The point is so heavy-handedly made several times early on in the movie, there is no way that you could miss it. Surely there’s no chance that they’ll end up together, is there? Well, in this predictable and tedious retread of the already tired teen romance genre, of course there is. When Chase is dumped by his girlfriend just before the school centennial celebration, ... This film was first released in cinemas in the year 1999, when it was on at the cinema I was dying to see it but never got round to going. In 1999 I was a massive fan of TV show, Sabrina the teenage witch, with Sabrina herself starring a main role, the film looked awesome! Now, 2001 I've gone off Sabrina! But yesterday when it came to sitting down and poppin a video on with my mate Laura, we chose this film. It seemed worth the watch, so why not!? Melissa Joan Hart who plays Sabrina is called Nicole in this film and the whole movie is all about her next door neigbour Chase, who is played by Adrian Grenier. ~ Both are great actors. Nicole ...
