I'm sorry but if there is anything good to say about this movie then it would have to be that it is a mercifully short movie by recent Hollywood standards. Dude - Where's my Car? (known as DWMC hereafter) is a film that I really wanted to dislike. Everything about this film goes against what I enjoy in a comedy, and much of the film really shouldn't have been funny at all! However, I still managed to laugh almost continually all the way through, and as much as I'd like to say I did not enjoy this film, I simply cannot. If I had to describe my foremost reaction to ’Dude Where’s My Car?’ in one teensy-bitsy word I’d just yell out ’Wasted’! Yes that’s what it was a wasted basket case of a movie. Frankly this isn’t even a movie. Its a 90 minute childish and stupid tele movie targeted exclusively at the teenage audience. Though the tele movie makes you giggle at intervals, before you recover from the laugh, the movie ends! So here’s what its about. Dude, Where's my Car is a very simple film. There is a minimal plot and basically the whole aim of the film is for people to have a laugh at a couple of stoners.
