It had superb casting, in Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, yet here, they have attempted to recreate that success with a prequel, and a film that is particularly infamous as being among the worst prequels ever (which is quite a claim). Harry and Lloyd have been specially selected to form the very first special needs class by their Principal. As the feckless pair bumble their way through class it becomes clear that all is not what it seems. It would appear they have stumbled across a plot that will get their Principal rich at the school's expense. Can the daft duo foil the Principal's dastardly scheme? I never really wanted to see this film when the trailers were being shown in the cinema. I had seen Dumb and Dumber like most people had but by adding 'er' onto the end of dumber I just thought what quick money idea has been thought of now. I hate when prequels and sequels are done so I avoided this for a long time.
