I’ve grown out of E.T now but it will continue to interest and entertain future generations for years to come. Let’s face it, it’s not an adult film but for a child it has so much magic and wonder that it’s unbelievable that Speilberg didn’t get an Oscar for it. If you don’t know the plot (where have you been) it’s basically how an alien is stranded on Earth and how it forms a bond and friendship with Elliot a young child. Overview A classic must see family film, this is all about an extra terrestrial (E.T) who's ship visits Earth, but when they leave he gets left behind. E.T is discovered by a boy, and his family, and they take care of E.T and try to get him home. Storyline. This is the movie I love most from production of Steven Spielberg. I have watching this movie for 4 times, once on movie on video, others are from television. Why do I love this movie so much? Steven knows the way of touching human's hearts, including the adults who compete in this world all the time, and the children who are innocent, naive and full of dreams for their future. That's why this movie had make a huge income for Steven. It is one of the Top 10 best selling movies of human history. I was very young (too young to know what movie is) when this movie was released. (film only review) Introduction E.T. -The Extra Terrestrial was originally released back in 1982 but I wasn't around then. I didn't actually see the film until quite a bit later when it came on television. It is classed as a sci fi film but it is actually a bit more of a family film and has elements of emotional drama.
