EastEnders: Slaters in Detention (DVD)

There was nothing on the television yesterday night, so I decided to put Eastenders on to watch the death/murder/robbery/affair that would probably end up happening. Yet again, it consisted of everyone going to the same dreary pub, eating the same meal in the same dilapidated café, expressing their same depressing lives to the whole of the United Kingdom. There is not one single family on the 'square' who leads a normal life. What is 'normal' in Eastenders though? I don't even believe that people watch the show to relate it to their own life. I happened to see this recently at my sister's house, and whilst I'm not a fan of the show itself, I do occasionally dip in and out when I know a big story is happening. When Eastenders is good, its excellent. Unfortunately, like most soaps now, they arrogantly think that we require endless spin-offs and extra episodes at the drop of a hat. The loudest sisters in soap find themselves in a cell for the night. They muse and laugh about their various antics in a collection of well sloted flashbacks, as they make their peace with each others differences. Eastenders: Slaters in detention is a one-off spin-off to Eastenders, it was never aired on TV as in only available on VHS/DVD. The Slater sisters, Kat, Lynne, Little Mo, and Zoe (not actually a sister) and nan Mo all get arrested because Kat assaults a police officer.
