In the film, a young Englishman falls in love with an American woman. They get married but they return to England to discover that his mum doesn't like his new bride. The mum and his bride start to play against each other to try and see who can last longer. The actors do a good job to involve the audience in the film. They have a lot of chemistry and make the film memorable. The soundtrack is very good and fits the films mood. The director does a good job in keeping the film's feel. *film only review* Entertaining your parents on a visit in winter is not the easiest of tasks. It's too wet for a long walk and the flat is too small to fit you all in. One of the last remaining avenues of adventure is the cinema, but even that has many pitfalls. What can you watch? You need a film that will suit everyone - not 'Saw V' or 'Transporter 3'. With this in mind I desperately looked the schedule for something we could watch knowing that they had seen 'Mama Mia!'
