Advantages: Great for horror fans

Disadvantages: Only really one for horror fans

This is one of the better British horror films of recent times. Although quite formulaic in its plot - a couple choose a secluded park for a weekend away - there are still some really good twists right until the end. The film also seems to reflect a current view of today's youth which is done so effectively it brings an extra chill factor to the film for the viewer.

The main characters are portrayed well and you are truly rooting for their escape when the terror begins. I think as a British viewer the film has all the more impact as the setting has the more familiarity and there really is a realism that suggests this isn't too far off the realms of possibility.

I'd recommend this if you are a horror fan as although it seems to start as a very run of the mill horror film, it really does try to bring in some new twisty so you will be shocked and surprised until the end credits roll.

Summary: If you want a horror with a few surprises up its sleeve - this is for you
