... section This is another section that is ideal for beginners. You only use body weight to do exercises like squats and push ups, so if you're not ready to lift weights yet then this section is for you. The backdrop is a beautiful beach. Approx 10mins long. 4. Second cardio section This section is the hardest one because your feet leave the floor a lot, due to exercises like star jumps. The music is brilliant on this one, and I find myself singing along every time. The backdrop is a group of trees, and it's almost jungle-like...more

Premium Review Elle Macpherson - The Body (DVD): The Body Workout, presented by 'the body' (809 words)
by - written on 20/08/09 (Very useful, 17 readings)
Rating:

I have bought DVDs by supermodels in the past, Cindy Crawford's are my favourites, so I decided to take a chance with Elle. To be honest I haven't heard much about her before I got this DVD, even though I did know she's one of the biggest supermodels. Premium Review Dragged kciking and screaming! (248 words)

When my flatmate first arrived home with this video, I laughed at her. Then she announced that it was in actual fact for both of us. The stretching parts can be made more difficult by the addition of weights (or in our case tins of soup!). ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Elle Macpherson - The Body (DVD): Phwaarrgh! Check me out! (416 words)
by - written on 23/08/01 (Very useful, 266 readings)
Rating:

I can't believe no-one else has written an opinion on this fab fitness video. Here's why I think it's the bees knees: I have been using this video at a fitness boost for about five years now and I'm still not bored by it. The beauty of it's timelessness comes from several sources. Firstly, the music used was never really high fashion chart music so has no 'sell by' date. Despite this it is very 'catchy' and has a motivational uplifting vibe throughout the video. Both Elle and Karen Voit (the tutor) look genuinely happy for the full hour! Nothing is as infectious as someone else's good mood. ...  Read the complete review
