==Summary/Plot==
Disney has struck gold with its film, "Enchanted." Appearing on Dvd in 2008, this movie attempt to "enchant" the audience with this modern day fairytale about true love. This is not your average fairytale, though. It is a fantastically scripted tale of the importance of knowing your heart and following it. If you are looking for a fun, family movie then this is it. Get out the popcorn and open the soda. You are in for a night of treats.
It all starts in Andalasia. It is a 2-D cartoon world full of singing and happily ever afters. We first meet Giselle in this world as she first meets her prince charming Edward. Queen Narrisa, on the other hand, is not so loving and doesn't want her crown taken. She will prevent them from marrying no matter what.
This is where is gets interesting. She sends Giselle down a wishing well that ends up in Manhattan. She is real. The world she is in is real. She is lost and confused. Prince Edward finds out and follows her in, just to get the wrong information and not finding her at first. Without giving anymore plot spoilers, I will say that this is where the movie gets very interesting. Giselle meets Robert and his daughter Morgan. This is where the story gets twisty-turvy and very interesting.
Find out what happens to poor Giselle and Prince Edward as you watch the rest of the movie.
==My opinion==
I love this movie. Disney really stepped it up in this one. I am a huge fan of Disney so I am a little partial, but it is a very magical movie. The songs are great. My favorite song is "That's how you know..." I also like the references in the movie to other disney fairytales like Snow White (there is a poisoned apple) and Sleeping Beauty.
I love the happily ever after movie and this certainly is one of those. It is pure Disney and a great family movie. This has a mostly adult cast (just one little girl) and it makes it work. It is obviously geared for all ages. I watch this with my husband and three kids, 3,6 and 13 and we all love it. It is so sweet and charming, down to the singing to the birds and talking to animals. What could be more Disney than that?
