Enchanted- directed by Kevin Lima and starring Amy Adams is a fantasy/romantic film which can be termed as a modern day fairy tale story, much in the path of Everafter starring Drew Barrymore. Just knowing that the film belongs to such a genre will narrow your expectations, you would know exactly what to expect and the film doesn't stray away from what it promises.

The film starts off with a girl waiting for his prince charming, and there's a villain in the form of the evil queen who won't let them get married. The twist in the tale happens when the girl is pushed into a hole in the fantasy world and ends up in a manhole in new york city! Her prince charming soon follows to find her and the evil queen sends one of his servants to make sure that the girl is killed and doesn't ever return to the fantasy world.

I won't go into details of the story but its mostly a pleasant ride with some funny moments which will keep you entertained. The ending of the film is slightly different(but then again most people might guess it). I guess this is more of a chick flick, something the ladies will love more than the guys.

Watch it if you feel like watching something light and fluffy.

----Also on ciao under the same name---

Summary: A decent film which deserves a watch
