Advantages: I like Good vs Evil!

Disadvantages: Some don't!

I can see that for reviews on this film the trend is to rate negative opinions of it as very useful! Obviously not many out there enjoyed it - but I'm not one of them. I watched it last night and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It contains your ever-popular fight between good and evil, but in its traditional, basic form of God against the Devil. Addressed in much the same way as in the Exorcist (not that I'm comparing the two films, they both include priests and Beelzebub in one shape or another, that’s all!). Arnie, the ex-cop about to kill himself, gets involved with the devil character by saving his life! He then spends the film trying to keep said Satan from procreating with the chosen one, and, might I add, no romantic involvement ensues between Arnie and she, thank goodness! The body being used by the devil in this film happens to be the same fella who played the priest in 'Stigmata', a very good actor, unfortunately I can’t remember his name! Needless to say good wins, following an almighty Millennium Eve struggle. Good acting even from Arnie, some blood and guts, and a happy ending! Perhaps I’m too easily pleased!

Bit hurried and too many exclamation marks for my liking plus echo of NikkiH's comment... happy to rerate if this is tidied up though. Regards, TT.

If you can't remember someones name, it is a good idea to do some research

I think it's the very sexy Gabriel Byrne who's in both this and Stigmata. Love both those movies.
