Enough is a great thriller starring Jennifer Lopez as Slim & Billy Campbell as her evil husband Mitch. This film instantly appealed to me as I teach self defence & I love good thrillers. Slim & Mitch meet when Slim is working in a working class café with best friend Ginny in a great supporting role from Juliette Lewis. Slim is instantly smitten with Mitch & she thinks she's finally found her prince charming. He also has everyone around them convinced that he is the perfect guy. Jennifer Lopez stars in this unexpectedly gripping film from 2002. It's a slow and slightly disjointed beginning where Jennifer Lopez appears as a single waitress, Slim Hiller, who is rescued by a chivalrous male when a customer makes moves on her, based on a bet. The scenes very quickly jump through the wedding, her concerns of having made the right choice and wanting to be sure she can love her new husband fully. I’m a really big Jennifer Lopez fan so I was anticipating the release of enough for quite some time. I’d heard it was one of those independent women type movies and was quite looking forward to seeing what it would be like. I saw a trailer of this movie quite early on. Quite a while back before it was released in the cinema and I was very impressed, it looked like a genuinely thrilling movie and I couldn’t wait to see it, but then again aren’t trailers just designed to fool all?
