ENTRAPMENT 1999

This film was released back in 99 and often shows on movie channels but on bank holiday Easter Monday this was on BBC1 so I decided to check it out, my dad having already seen it warned me it was quite complicated and 'TwIsTeD' but I still watched it.

Entrapment stars 'Catherine Zeta-Jones' and 'Sean Connery' as the main roles. The film has an interesting twist which is probably what makes it a little confusing to watch and understand clearly, but this is basically what makes the film what it is.

Catherine Zeta Jones plays 'Virginia' a business woman who you can clearly see enjoys her role of work, maybe because she works by day and night, maybe because she is just good at it. Virginia works for one of the biggest insurance agents in America and she is tracking down one of the most successful art thieves of all time.

Sean Connery plays 'Mac' this art thief and he is v.v.good at his profession. Virginia has been tracking him now for many years and she finally thinks she is about to finish the job. She manages to pursuade her boss that she can catch Mac in the act and mission completed.

But it isn't all as simple as that because upon meeting Mac we realise that Virginia is too a fellow thief! So these two get together and decide to do a raid on a wealthy mansion where an art exhibition is being held. The reward is a golden mask. Whilst Viriginia is supposedly catching Mac in the act for her bosses sake, they have acually both teamed up and started training together so they can complete there big, daring raid.

But as time passes we all notice there is most definitely going to be a twist in the flik which is a little dissapointing to know from such an early point in the film. As you can probably guess, Mac learns that his female friend is setting him up but what she doesen't know is that Mac works for the FBI and has been tracking her for years (Just l
ike she has to him!!!) Confusing huh!? Well this is the twist!

But as you can expect there is more to come, with Mac knowing who Virginia really is, but Virginia not realising totally who Mac is, there could be a problem!? Whats the problem then!? A little word 'LOVE' might give away something but the story goes on from there and you'll have to watch the film to see what eventually happens in the end...

The acting is brilliant starring two very well known actors, they make the film that little bit better, the action scenes are done well too considering this film is a few years old now!

This film is interesting to watch, it fulfils you with action, curiosity, good acting and a little spark of romance, it is well worth a watch, I enjoyed it after finally understanding everything! If you're no good at confusing films you may struggle with this but otherwise go for it! cheers for reading, best wishes emmaxXx :0)
