The teen movie genre was coming to an end and in June 2004 Euro Trip was released. I automatically thought that it was the sequel to the highly successful, and brilliant, Road Trip, released some four years earlier back in 2000. Other than the word "Trip" in the title and that the film involves going to other towns there are no other similarities or common factors between Euro Trip and Road Trip. The actors are different, the directors and writers are different. They are 2 totally different films. ****Story line**** Scotty Thomas (played by Scott Mechlowicz) has just graduated from high school gets dumped by his girlfriend ... Read the complete review

Euro Trip is one of those teenage movies that actually can't help but make you laugh. It's of a similar humour to American Pie, rude, crude and a little wrong but actually a very well made movie and in my opinion very funny. Euro Trip was released in 2004 . It stars your usual bunch of teenage actors that have swamped Hollywood in recent years. Some have gone on to make more of their careers, some haven't done very much at all. The girl in this movie who goes to Europe is Michelle Trachtenberg and she has been in Buffy and gone on to do quite well. The basic plot of this movie tells the story of Scott Thomas and his three friend's travels across ... Read the complete review

Eurotrip is a comedy, that tells the story of Scotty Thomas (Scott Mechlowicz), who after a fair few drinks returns home only to tell his internet buddy - who he believes is a man - to leave him alone, later to discover to his horror, that it was actually an attractive young woman who he has spent years speaking to over the net, and until he told her to leave him along wanted to come to America to see him. So Scotty and three of his friends Cooper (Jacob Pitts) Jamie (Travis Wester) and Jenny (Michelle Trachtenberg) decide to embark on a journey of a lifetime across Europe in search of her. note: also appears in part on Flixster and The Student Room After American Pie hit big at the box office, we had a resurgance of frat-style films in the vein of the original gross-out comedy Animal House. Eurotrip is one of the more successful iterations, a highly amusing film that's something of a guilty pleasure, but a fun European adventure that gives it a little flavour different to the typicality of the American ones. The film revolves around Scott "Scotty" Thomas (Scott Mechlowicz), who is dumped on his graduation day by girlfriend Fiona (Kristin Kreuk). Thoroughly depressed, he is too jaded and dumb to realise that the pen-pal he ... Read the complete review
