As a follow up to 'Bruce Almighty', Evan, a local TV news presenter, has just been elected to congress. Moving to a new house in Virginia into which moves his wife and kids, he declared in one of his congressional campaigns that he would change the world. Then one night he prays too god, asking for him to help in his mission, after encouragement by his wife.

Strange things from then on started to happen, such as his alarm going off at 6.14 without it even plugged in, and the olden' day tools which are mysteriously delivered to his address in his name, and also animals seemed to follow him wherever he went. The number 615 cropped up everywhere he went, soon enough learning that it is a verse from the bible; this verse was about Noah when he was instructed to build an ark. Soon enough appears god, commanding him to do the very same. From this day onwards, even more strange things happen, such as his beard that won't go away no matter how often he shaves, and many trucks worth of wood are left outside his hours. People start to think Evan is going crazy after his change in looks, and the idea that he will build an ark in time for the incoming flood (which everyone thought was crazy since they were in the middle of a drought).

After getting suspended from work by Congressman Long for appearing at a meeting in rags, and telling everyone he will build an ark, he sets off building. I found it particularly funny when all the animals started helping Evan build the Arc, carrying tools and wood, whilst also sharing drinks. It would have been particularly embarrassing for Evan if it was all real life, with everybody laughing at him, although he never quit... he had to judge his instincts in God.

On the date of the flood, the skies were clear, showing no signs of any kind of flood, causing even more laughter for the hundreds of citizens and news crews who had come to watch. Clouds start to from creating quite a heavy downfall, although soon enough, this cleared, making Evan one big laughing stock. After the demolition crews say they will destroy the boat, Evan remembers about the dam, and that it could break, creating a big flood, and obviously soon enough, it does. I found the special effects to be used in this scene I find to be incredible, with one of my particular favourates being the water pouring over the forests and heading for the people. In panic with this site, everyone runs for the arc, which ends up in Washington DC by the water flood, stopping right at the front door of the US Capitol.

I find the film to be quite cheesy and possible much more humorous for a child of a much younger age. I think that Jim Carey as the main cast member would have made the film much funnier just like the previous sequel, although this may possible have made this film a little too repetitive.

Overall possible a little disappointing, not quite set out to be what it actually was. Containing some 'chuckling' moments, I would recommend giving this film a try, although more than one watching would probably get a little boring.
