A wonderful adaptation of another classic Agatha Christie novel filmed in 1982 and another all star cast - Maggie Smith, Diana Rigg, Roddy McDowall, James Mason, Denis Quilley, Jane Birkin and Peter Ustinov as Poirot to name a few. I have to say that I do enjoy Peter Ustinov's portrayal of Poirot and he brings a lot of humour to the role and I find this is quite a fun film (discounting the actual fact it is about murder). There are some superb performances especially from Maggie Smith and Diana Rigg. The setting this time - a small island in the sun and a group of holiday makers and the obligatory murder.
