      Pretty good spin off

This was a short TV Series of 40 episodes released in September 1997 - December 1997. It is essentially a spin of from the Real Ghostbusters. It is like all the ghost activity has paused for a number of years so the team has all split off into their own separate ventures, however Egon has remained studying in the fire station with Slimer. His study of paranormal has him teaching a paranormal class with very limited numbers.

This year's class has 4 students when suddenly Slimer bursts in alerting Egon that the PKE Meters are going crazy, so a field trip is organised to investigate. It is discovered the city has broken through a dimensional rift which is allowing ghosts back into the city, unfortunately the warnings Egon gives are ignored as an old con from back in the 80's until people start getting visited by these newly released ghosts, and then the Ghostbusters are needed once again. However this time the team is now made up of the 4 new students

Over the 40 episodes of this series the new team investigate and trap the newly released ghosts that are out terrorising the city.

      Overall Opinion
This is quite a good series, I did prefer the original, The Real Ghostbusts, however it is a nice touch that the cartoon style is kept the same, the typical storylines are again kept in the same style and of cause Egon is voiced by the same person Maurice LaMarche.

If you enjoyed the original you will enjoy this and it's a nice continuation of the series, after all you can never have enough Ghostbusters.
