A cop killer is on the loose. To date, 9 cops are dead, and the investigative team trying to find the killer is no closer to finding him. It must be difficult to peak so early in your career as Stallone did in the excellent 'Rocky' and he has never really matched that performace although he has come close in the witty 'Tango and Cash' and the excellent star studded but low budget 'Cop Land'. D-Tox is another of those films that has failed to put him back amongst the top actors with a pretty poor script not backed up by any quality acting. However if his reported paycheck of £20m for this and other equally bad films of late is correct you could be froced into believing he is just in it for the money. You could be forgiven for not hearing of this film before. In fact it's real title is D-Tox but once upon a time it was called Eye See You and briefly it went by the dull name of The Outpost. There is a reason for all the name changes. Production began on the film at the beginning of 1999. The star was Sylvester Stallone who was returning to the action role but this time with a more darker twist. The budget was a modest $55 million dollars and sitting in the directors chair was Scotsman Jim Gillespie, who himself was fresh off the success of I Know What You Did Last Summer.
