I really hope this review of mine is appreciated by all dooyooholics. I could've easily gone to sleep on my settee whilst this film was on......but no...I had to suffer to the very end just so I could give my complete and honest opinion.
if any of my friends ask me if ive seen this film and whats it like, I will sum it up in two words...
unless you wear a mackintosh and get pleasure out of sitting around spotting planes or trains maybe ,then you will not find this interesting.
I expected something fantastic as both Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise have starred in some excellent roles.
Such talented actors I'm extremely surprised that they even looked at the script.
The beginning is really blah blah blah then there is a bit in the middle where Tom Cruise ends up at some weird sort of satan worshipping orgy hole.
He gets kicked out as he isnt supposed to be there. Spends the whole entire remainder of the film walking streets and jumping in taxis trying to find out what the place was, which you never find out anyway, or maybe im just totally confused about the whole plot.
you will notice however that all the actors seem to speak really sloooooow. Without body and soul or any oomph at all.
maybe this was so they could actually drag the so called story out to class it as a film and not a commercial.
nicole kidman wearing granny glasses which just made my tummy churn.
a complete let down by such fine actors,the film lacks the most important things youd expect from a storyline,the beginning...middle and end.
really,i warn you to keep your rental money....watch tom and jerry instead.
