Being a fan of Family Guy i thought to myself, i have to get them. I dont watch much TV, and i found that the show is never on at a time i can remember to tune in to watch. So when i saw this cheap, i grabbed it. If you haven't watched Family Guy before, its a cartoon show about a disfunctional family much like the Simpsons. In their later years i have gone off the Simpsons and have found that this show gives me what i find the Simpsons does not. My favourite character is the same as everyone else i think, Stewie. He is constantly trying to kill his mother, or being cynical and trying to kill everyone else (while being a baby). The first season ... Read the complete review

Family Guy first appeared in my world years ago when it was first aired in the U.K. on Sky One, but if memory serves me right, it only lasted a few episodes before it disappeared for a while. However, those few episodes were enough for me to become hooked. Jesus: "For my next miracle, I'm going to turn this water into funk!" It's hard for me to offer up similar alternatives or even a one-line description of Family Guy, and the closest I can come up with is that it's a more risqué and surreal version of The Simpsons. Stewie: "Damn you vile woman, you've impeded my work since the day I escaped your vile womb." ... Read the complete review

The first season of Family Guy has just 14 episodes unlike many other American shows which usually have at least 20 shows per season. All 14 episodes will leave you in stitches however I feel the season gets off to a fantastic start but tails off towards the end however all the episodes are hilarious. I will go through a couple of my favourite episodes from the series: Episode 1, Death Has a Shadow is one of the best shows from the first season and really starts the show with a bang. Peter is fired from his job so begins to claim welfare but they accidently send him $150,000. Peter subsequently goes on a spending binge and then under the orders ... Read the complete review

Currently all the best shows come out of the USA, when it comes to animated shows then it's hard to think of anything the UK has ever attempted which could even match the humour of the US counterparts. I'm of course talking about the likes of The Simpsons, South Park, Futurama, King of the Hill and Family Guy. Family Guy is really a mix of South Park and The Simpsons. It's humour doesn't go all out like South Park but it certainly aims for the more adult market than The Simpsons. The family guy is Peter Griffin, an overweight father with three kids, a wife and a dog. He's always putting his foot in it and making bad situations out of nothing ... Read the complete review
