Synopsis: Showing the life of a Brother and Sister born into aristocracy and the troubles and sadness they face after the death of their father and re-marriage of their mother. Fanny and Alexander spans a year of their life and how it unfolds. Ingmar Bergman's passing in 2007 was a sad one for cinema, because it meant another of the greatest masters ever to work in a directors chair had passed on. However the man had given some of the most brilliant examples of cinema ever and for that he should of been proud.
