This is the brilliant follow up film to father of the bride where we see George banks daughter Annie get married, but not with out a few hitches may i add. Four years after the first film was released we saw the release of this movie simply entitled 'father of the bride part 2', which unlike some follow up films that seem to be a flop this one proved to be even more of a hit with it's wacky and lovable storyline. ~The plot~ George banks ( Steve Martin) in still recovering from the shock of his beloved daughter getting married when a few months later she drops another bombshell- Thats she pregnant. George being George again goes into panic mode and ... Read the complete review

In this sequel to the greatest chick-flick of all time, we see both in-laws at the Banks household. They are awaiting the arrival of Brian and Annie as they have some news. They are all guessing what it could be and of course, George can only think the worst whilst the other parents think it might be a baby, could they be right? George's attempt to stay young is a trip to the barbers where he gets his hair dyed brown, a stop off at Victoria Secrets to pick up some sexy lingerie for wife, Nina and then a declaration that he wants to move to the beach. Has George lost the plot? ... Read the complete review

Picture the scene; it’s the HMV ‘buy one get one free’ DVD offer. I’m scanning the shelves and secured a copy of ‘The Thing’ for myself – top film people, top film! Anyways, I’m looking for another title to get free when Susan comes along holding a copy of ‘Father of the bride 2’ ‘Fair-do’s’ I thought. It’s one of her favourite films, and seeing as how I was getting a film she’d never watch it’s ... Read the complete review

George Banks is back, and is even nuttier than before! Father of the Bride 2 is the sequel to Father of the Bride and contains the same cast. Steve Martin is George Banks. George is a delightfully neurotic man who is just recovering from his beloved daughter [Annie - played by Kimberley Williams - who used to date Pete Sampras] getting married to Brian [played by George Newbern] in a rather lavish ceremony which George paid for. Everything is just settling back to normal when Annie and George's wife, Nina [played by Diane Keaton] both announce that they are pregnant, and [even more disturbingly] they decide that the legendary Franck [Martin Short] will be in ...
