The highlights of this series include the Priests having to entertain the most boring Priest in the world Father Stone. Father Jack dying then coming back to life. A talent contest where everyone goes as Elvis and a dirty film that Ted and Dougal protest against, but actually end up enjoying. The acting is brilliant with the lines delievered perfectly and the physical comedy good as well. Each episode is laugh ou...more

I cant believe I havent already written a review for this yet!! This is one of the best things Tv has ever produced- the characters absolutely hilarious and the plot lines are silly but never too far fetched. Father Ted - Series 1 ============= The Series is about 3 priests and their housekeeper. They all live in a decrepit house on Craggy Island. Each episode involves crazy, hilarious and out right barmy situations that happen to them and also that they initiate and end up being caught up in the middle of an insanity tornado. Father Ted has been banned to this out of the way Parochial house because of his shady past. Which involved some missing money. Father Dougal McGuire is the innocent and thick as 2 short planks trainee priest. Father Jack Hackett is a heavy drinker and womaniser, much like a normal priest then? Mrs Doyle is ...  Read the complete review
