Advantages: Fast-paced, very unique and very funny

Father Ted is about the lives of 3 Priests that live in Craggy Island's Parochial house and the hilarious and often unfortunate situations that they manage to get themselves in to.

Series 2 can be watched without having seen any other episodes of Father Ted before, as it does not run on from past events that happened in series 1.

There are many fine moments in this series and the comic timing is just pure genius, that no other t.v. Programme has been able to replicate since.

Highlights include such things as Father Ted and Father Dougal composing a song for the Eurovision song contest (A song called "My Lovely Horse"), Father Jack being sent to an old priests home because he has hairy hands (and being replaced by a priest that loves blasting out jungle music at 3am!) and a plane flight that goes terribly wrong (but do not fear, Father Dougal has sticky tape!)

If you like your comedy fast paced and very silly, then Father Ted is definitely a must see that I cannot recommend highly enough!

Summary: The best programme ever shown on T.V.
