Fear is an edge of your seat suspenseful thriller that seems to be relatively unknown. It was released in 1996, starring Reece Witherspoon & Mark Wahlberg in two early roles for the both of them. This is a really gripping thriller that deserves a lot more recognition than it gets. I first saw this a couple of years ago when it was on TV at about 2am, it just looked like one of those films that channel 4 put on in the early hours of the morning to fill up their schedule. The main character of the movie, Nicole (played by Reece Witherspoon), a sweet and innocent 16 year old girl, living a happy life with her family and friends. Things couldn't be better when she meets handsome, charming, David Walker (played by Wahlberg). Nicole, and her family's happy existence is turned upside down when Nicole and her intuitive father discover the 'truth' about David and his 'not so charming' capabilities. This movie makes a nice change from typical 'stab' type movies that are around at the moment. I would have classed this as a thriller more than ... Read the complete review

Fear is a teen thriller starring Mark Wahlberg, Reese Witherspoon and Alyssa Milano. It centres around Nicole (played by Witherspoon) who is a good teenage girl but with a rebellious side, who meets a guy named David McCall (played by Wahlberg) after sneaking off to an illegal rave with her friend Margot (played by Milano). David and Nicole start seeing each other much to the dismay of Nicole's Father, Steve. As their relationship progresses, David starts to display some possessive and psychotic behaviour like when he sees Nicole hugging her friend Gary, David savagely beats him and when Nicole tries to get David to stop, he also hits her. Nicole starts to see David in ... Read the complete review
