Advantages: brilliant family film.

Disadvantages: your kids will make you watch it over and over again!!

Another HIT for disney pixar. Staring the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Alexander Gould and Albert Brookes. This is light hearted tale about the ups and downs of living in the ocean.
Marlin is the over protective single dad, and all he wants to do is to keep his over adventourous and curious son safe, albeit in a very over protecting manner. The story line is as the title suggests (i dont want to give too much away!) but in a nutshell, Nemo gets taken by a diver and Marlin races to find him.

The thing i enjoyed most about this film is how disney manage to entwine all the different characters. where else would you get 3 sharks befriending 2 little fish, or a pelican who is best friends with a tank full of fish.
As usual disney have classified this film as a U, there are a couple of scenes (ie the shark scene) which some younger children may find a bit upsetting and/or scary, (though my son was a bit intimidated at first, but now loves that scene!).

The best thing about this film i would say is, it has something for everybody, there are plenty of slapsitck gags for the kids to enjoy, and a heap of adult 'older' jokes for the adults, so it really is a film you can chill out and watch with the kids.

As with all disney films, you are kept on the egde of your seat, but you know it is going to be a happy ending!!!

Summary: Well made well written family film
