Advantages: Great music score

Disadvantages: Worst of the trilogy

A Fistful Of Dollars was the groundbreaker and the first of Sergio Leone's "Spaghetti Western" trilogy. Unfortunately, it is the worst of the three and feels sparse and lame compared to its two predecessors. That said, the plotting. based loosely on Kurasawa's Yojimbo is still compelling and the action sequences are still second to none. Clint Eastwood shows he has natural charm and charisma, and the music by Ennio Morricone is one of the most famous music scores in history. This is a film that should be seen, but a lot of its impact has been lost over the years.
