When Isabel and Alex have a one-night stand, they don't expect to see each other again, especially as Isabel leaves without any forwarding address. But then Isabel finds out that she is pregnant, and not knowing what to do, goes to see Alex. They fall in love and, although they barely know each other, decide to get married. Then the problems begin. They are living in Las Vegas, but Alex is only there temporarily and wants to return to New York. Isabel, however, is determined to stay in Las Vegas. When she has an accident and ends up in hospital, she decides to tell Alex that she has lost the baby and that there is no point in them staying together. Can Alex persuade her ... >>>> Synopsis When night club construction supervisor Alex Whitman (Matthew Perry) has a one night stand with Isabel Fuentes (Salma Hayek), a beautiful Mexican who works as a photographer in the Las Vegas clubs, he thinks nothing more of it. That is until three months later when Isabel turns up on his door step with the revelation that she is pregnant with his child. LOVE IS OVERPOWERING Salma Hayek is super beautiful in her youth, she is without comparison, the word beauty is insufficient to describe her, she dances in her kitchen in this film, just fantastic looking woman, being Indian I have a fixation for brown skins. Salma Hayek (Isabel Fuentes) Matthew Perry (Alex Whitman) they are the lead pair, the only injustice is half the time she is shown as pregnant in this film, why take a healthy beautiful actress, restrict her bodily to walk pregnant, anyway pregnant woman don’t look sexy, they look motherly. The pairing of Perry and Salma was beautiful, they both have good looks and there is something very ... Read the complete review

Matthew Perry stars as Alex Whitman, an architect from New York who is transferred to Las Vegas for a "temporary" project. I think Perry is the funniest cast member on "Friends" but this film proves he is only capable of playing one character - young yuppie slackers who spew forth wisecracks and one-liners at every given opportunity. Sometimes characters like these can be funny, but Perry's performance is so dry and the script is so shallow we never get a sense of his character so it like seeing one episode of "Friends" & try to sense his character. And then there is Selma Hayek as Isabel Fuentes, a sexy Mexican-American ... Read the complete review

Alex Whitman: Matthew Perry Isabel Fuentes: Salma Hayek Jeff: Jon Tenney Chuy: Carlos Gomez Tomas: Tomas Milian Directed by Andy Tennant. Written by Katherine Reback. Running time: 106 minutes. Rated PG Fools Rush In was a film released in 1997 starring Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek. Admittedly, the only reason I first watched this film was because it stars Matt Perry and me being the big “Friends” fan at the time I wanted to watch him in it. I really did not expect it to be that good, I hadn’t heard about it being released in the cinema and I certainly didn’t recall it receiving any Oscar nominations ... Read the complete review
