Advantages: great escape from reality

Disadvantages: not great acting, unbelievable storylines

What a wonderful guilty pleasure this TV series was, and so great to own on DVD.

The series is wonderfully cheesy and totally predictable, but the perfect show to watch when you're feeling a bit glum, or it's raining outside, or if you've just had a rubbish day at work.

The characters are easy to follow, and it's great to have a nose around some of the beauiful houses, stare in awe at some of the outrageous clothes, and dribble over the scrumptious actors and actresses.

The acting itself isn't great - but it doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. It's fast paced, and great fun, and will leave you shocked and giggling in equal measures. The storylines are totally unbelievable at times, but if you're looking for an escpae from reality then this is perfect!

There is a lot of swearing, smoking, drug taking and sex scenes in this show, so not recommended for those easily offended.

Summary: a wonderful guilty pleasure for those "off" days
