Advantages: Beautiful scenery.

Disadvantages: Predictable storyline.

I knew there had been a lot of publicity about this film, mainly to do with Russell Brand but it's not a film I would have gone to the cinema to see. I knew the basis for the story was a guy whose girlfriend dumps him (while he is starkers) for Russell's character. The guy then goes on holiday to Hawaii get over his heartbreak and guess who else is at the resort!

I felt the whole thing was pretty predictable from what I knew prior to watching it, and within about 20 minutes could have predicted the bits I didn't know. I didn't think any of the acting was outstanding, in fact I was at times a little bored with the story, which really didn't have too much to it. It's not a film that I would watch again, though there were some funny moments.

Russell must have laughed all the way to the bank with this film, as there was no acting required from him just living up to his public persona whilst on a beautiful location and I have to say for me the location was the star. By the end of the film I really felt I could just do with a stay in Hawaii gazing out at the sea cocktail in hand.

Summary: A couple of laughs but not worth the hype it had.
