This is an excellent film with a fantastic debut performance from Russell Brand, who despite basically playing a version of himself, he managed to steal the show. The overall film is full of laughs and jokes, and is thoroughly entertaining. He is perfect as the likeable lothario character which is not a million miles away from the person we see in the showbiz pages every week.
A musician is heartbroken when his girlfriend breaks up with him, and to make himself feel better he books himself a holiday to Hawaii. However, he is crushed to find his ex and her new boyfriend are staying at the same resort and a series of hilarious events subsequently take place, involving the two stars and all the other characters on the island.
I'd reccommend this film to anybody looking for a romantic comedy which has more to it than the usual soppy rubbish, on a night in. Definitely one for both the boys and the girls.
