Advantages: Fantastic Film
Disadvantages: There are none
This has to be one of the all time great movies. It is set in America and starts with a man sitting at a bus stop. He is Forrest Gump. He is 'a bit slow' and starts to tell the people waiting at the bus stop his life story. He started a 'normal' school even though his iq was below par due to his mum's favours to the school headmaster as she wanted her Forrest to have the advantages of normal kids. He starts school with leg braces so no one talks to him other than one girl on the school bus 'Jennie'. They become best friends 'like peas and carrots' and do everything together. Throughout his like he does many amazing things. Fights in vietnam and saves his whole platoon by running back into the war zone and carrying them out. He teaches elvis how to dance as a kid when he stays at his mothers house which is a b&b. He starts up a shrimp business due to a promise he makes to his best friend Bubba in the army who gets shot. Eventually Jennie catches up with him, and she moves in and she is dying but she has a son (Forrest is a dad) Basically at the end of the film it makes you cry and cry and cry. Tom Hanks is a fantastic actor and plays Forrest very well. Well worth watching!
